Jim George is the author of 16 books, that have sold more than 1million copies. He is a speaker, and a former pastor and seminary professor. He has served in a variety of pastoral roles for the past 30 years. His life aim is to write and teach God's Word in a way that glorifies the Lord and encourages believers in their walk with Him.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Talbot School of Theology.
Jim and his wife Elizabeth have been married 40 years.
Both are writers, teachers, and speakers.
They have 2 married daughters and 8 grandchildren.

They are members of Makakilo Baptist Church, Kapolei, HI and divide their time between the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington and Hawaii

Jim's book A Man After God's Own Heart reached #17 on the ECPA best sellers list. Two of Jim's books - A Husband After God's Own Heart and A Young Man After God's Own Heart were finalists for the Gold Medallion Book Award. . He is also a contributing author of the book,
